Parks Are For People

Last weekend Papas Allred came over and we took the kids to the park. It was a blast. The kids loved it, and so did I!

Here's my adorable K.J. I think he looks so sweet in this picture.

"Cheese!" Livi talking to Papas and not missing the opportunity to have her picture taken!

Making a train down the slide. As you can see, I was a super model before I retired to concentrate on family.

"Hmm... what should I do next?"

I am so blessed! I have two of the greatest kids ever! "Count your blessings, name them one by one." Two of my greatest blessings ever are sitting right there. They have changed my life forever, and I am so thankful for the power of Motherhood in my life. I love them!!! I wouldn't trade this experience for anything in the world.

Just to keep you updated, the young man in the accident has not made much improvement -- but just the fact that he is alive right now testifies that there are miracles! They are beginning to pull him out of sedation to get a better idea of where they are. And Olivia is past the fever part, but is still pretty miserable with sores in her mouth and pain in her hands and feet, along with body aches. Poor gal! But we're hanging in there, and she is improving. I am so thankful for the opportunities I have to see the tender mercies of the Lord!

oh reeser you are too cute. i love the picture of your kids sitting there together. you have such cute little kiddos or dinasours or sprouts or whatever you want to say. so i just noticed your love not column. have you had this for a while? goodness, i need to pay better attention because your blog has far surpassed my creative abilities and it seems like everywhere i look there's a new cool thing to see. so i was laughing so hard when you said you were a super model before you retired to concentrate on family. you are too funny--that's why i hardly post pics of myself because that getting ready and looking adorable thing rarely happens in my life. so you are a hoot. and, i too, am grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord. there's just something about the phrase 'tender mercies' that makes me so happy :). have a good one. i am off to virginia beach, virginia tomorrow to see norma. it's 60 degrees there. woo hoo!

p.s. k.j. has a lot of your creative blood in him. he says the funniest things. "...i'm never gonna let go of your hand." could that be any cuter. a few other of my favorites...olivia calling you marie and k.j. telling you you are the most special sprout of all to this family. where did you get him. i want him to come and live at my house for a day. well i guess you'd need to come too because he seems to be quite fond of his mama and i don't think he'd say such cute things to me. you rock! hope livi is completely better soon.
