Random Sampler

My children have the sweetest relationship -- she bosses/terrorizes/hits and worships him, and he does what she says, cries when she bullies him, refuses to ever hit her back, and adores her. Something tells me this could always be the nature of their relationship! She's very lucky to have the worlds most patient big brother, and he's lucky to have a little sister who will always keep things exciting. When they play games (particularly hide and seek) she loves to sit on his lap so that he can keep her safe! He'll just wrap his arms around her and help her get more cozy. I'm blessed. Sometimes they get on a terror and all I hear is "Mine!" "No, mine!" "Mine!" "No, mine!" but usually they are loving and kind, and definitely a highlight of my life! Now whether I think I could handle ANOTHER one is definitely up for debate . . .
This picture is of me and some of the other YW leaders at a rather hilarious "Beauty Pageant" mystery activity. And looking at my arm, it is seriously looking like Granny's! Wow. And only 26 years old. Oh well, now if I get lonely, I can just look at my arm. We have fun -- my crown has cheese pictures all over it, because I was Miss Wisconsin. I thought that was so hilarious! In fact, I thought it was a lot funnier then any of my girls did! I stand by the cheese crown.
The following two pictures are from yesterday. "Cranpas" was visiting our house and we were watching Twilight (that's right, me and my dad). I kept getting the feeling Livi was probably in the bathroom and I should check on her. I should have listened to that feeling! A few minutes later she came out with a toothpaste beard, anti-itch cream all over her hands, and tears in her eyes because she knew she'd done wrong and had to confess in order to get cleaned off! Honestly, it was my own fault. Cranpas and I had a good laugh over that one.
Below is K.J.'s "Ready for Kindergarten" picture. That's right, he is now officially registered to join the elementary school throngs as a kindergarten student. THIS IS TERRIBLE. I really don't think I could be more traumatized. I'm proud, because he is adorable and wonderful and did very well on his little assessment! But I am so sad my little baby boy will be a KINDERGARTNER! Time has flown by so incredibly fast. I love him and will miss him when he's gone every day! However, don't fret, Grandma (I know what you're thinking right now, Mom). I put on a good act for his sake! Really, I know he will love it and I will get used to it and probably even like it. He's already counting down the time until fall so he can go to the big school. I just love my little (getting bigger all the time) boy, and wish I could keep him with me forever!
Congrats, Kindergarten K.J.!

I dread the days of kindergarten as well. I am thinking of putting Addie in preschool and it's freaking me out. I don't know where the time went, but I want it back! And yet if I had it back I wouldn't have Purt or Leighna! Cute kids!

Time does go by way to fast. We have Aiden enrolled for Kindergarten as well and Kaylise for a two day a week preschool. I'm not sure how I will handle only having one child again. Oh the possibilities of what to do with the time yet I think I will miss them being around more. As for the scrapbooking lessons. I'm by no means an expert. I just started and it took me forever to get those two pages done. If you have the photo software all you need is time and creativity which I know you have plenty of the latter!

haha. So cute! I love seeing their personalities come out! Kids do grow up way too fast. Come the fall, Toby will be in Kindergarten, too. That leaves me with just my baby for a few hours a day! Kaylee's going into the third grade...Time flies!! I am so not ready to send Toby off. I try to convince Kaylee to take online school! hahaha. She doesn't like the idea...afterall..there is no recess!! Cute picture of Olivia....the little stinker. haha. I see NOTHING wrong with your arm. It looks just like a young person's arm!
