The Graduate

Today was preschool graduation for the smart, marvelous, handsome and lovable Mr. K.J. Magillicutty Burdette. He has attended school for two hours every Tuesday and Thursday at The Starting Line Preschool, and he has loved every second of it. It has been fun for him to learn how to be a part of a classroom and make friends and have time away from Mommy (what?!) to learn and grow. He had a wonderful experience and is sad to see it end, but so excited for all the adventures that lay ahead -- Kindergarten! Without further ado, I offer you the highlights of the day:

My Graduate
K.J. and his amazing grandparents!
The Proud Mama!
K.J.'s teacher, Ms. Toni, who described him as "extremely creative, and tough enough to admit that his favorite color is pink -- and have no one bother him about it!"

I will end with this conversation that took place only a few brief moments ago:

Mom: Did you have a great time at your preschool graduation?

K.J.: Did you have a great time at my preschool graduation?

Mom: Yes, I did, I thought it was a blast!

K.J.: That's because it was.

Mom: And I thought you did such an awesome job!!!

K.J.: That's because I did.

Miss Marie -- You might have your hands full with him. He is adorable and maybe too smart for your own good. Just wait until the first day of kindergarten . . . and then you turn 30 . . . and then baptism . . . I can't even think about Young Womens for Taylei. It is so good that you are raising him so his creative genius is fighting for the right team. I can imagine all of the damage he will do to Satan's plan when he is a missionary but that is really thinking way too old and I probably should be put in time out for even saying it.

Congratulations KJ. Kids are so funny sometimes. I love conversations like yours. Tim saw the pictures and thought it was a little odd to see Sis. Rosander. We actually rented their basement for six months when we were first married.
