Return Of The Barf; Or, The Swine Flu Strikes Back

Poor Olivia has an upset stomach and a slight, mild, probably giving her a headache, fever. This has led to crying, feel badiness for Mommy, "ouch, ouch, ouch," and barfing. On me. All three times. Sigh. I don't mind, 'cause you know, I'm a Mother. I am a champion. But I do feel bad for her. The first two were mild, and then she felt better. She has slept, slept, and slept, and was up for about two hours and even drank some juice and ate some lipton noodle soup! Then about ten minutes ago she came into me fussing, sat on my lap, and upchucked lipton noodles all over both of us. She immediately felt better. I, being the magnanimous woman that I am, gave her sympathy and got her ready for another nap after changing clothes again. She's now asleep. Poor little gal. Three barfs, you're out!!!

Thanks for sharing. You are a champion. I'm glad the barfing made her feel better. It seems to work that way with my kids too. I love that the last couple of times they have finally started to realize what that feeling means and they try to get to the toilet first. It makes clean up so much nicer and I don't get nearly as close to joining in the barfing game! I hope little Olivia gets better soon. I hate seeing my little ones sick. I feel so helpless. You're awesome.

You're such a good mom. that is when I pass them off to Jon. He's got a much tougher stomach than me. He must have gotten it from dad. He can watch anyone barf and just feel bad for them. I just get sick myself. Go You! I hope Olivia feels better soon!
