So This Is Interesting ...

1) We went on a wonderful walk tonight all over the ward boundaries and beyond! Totally awesome fun. The kids loved it. I loved it. I even think Benny loved it. I'm upping the Amps of Fitness before I turn into a giant orb and float away. On a happy note, the Double B suggested we should walk together -- gasp of awesomeness! Family Fitness meets the Burdette's! Rock on.
2) K.J. mega-barfed all over the living room carpet and then mega-barfed in the toilet after said walk. We are talking projectile vomit here. He took it like an amazing champion. I kept thinking he looked a little Halloween-ee (translation: too much candy). He feels a lot better now!
3) Olivia (or Via, as she refers to herself) can totally count to fifteen, and she's only two years old! A math genius? I hope so. Either way, it's nice to have a big brother to learn with. She also loves to pretend she's asleep if we walk into her room after bedtime, and then does a little dance of triumph when we walk back out. Ha. She thinks we're fooled. But it's so cute, and she can't help it if it takes her longer to fall asleep then it takes brother!
I'm so glad to be back with my sweet family!

I saw you. I wasn't dressed appropriately for a shout out, but I thought, "Wow! They have traveled far."

We saw you too...and wondered how you had wandered so far from home. We thought about going back and giving you directions back to your house but we figured you couldn't stay lost for too long and you'd eventually find your way home. I'm glad to see you did!

15! wowser. we are happy when braden counts to three (although lately he has been saying 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...i'm not sure he knows what comes before those numbers though).
