And They Call The Thing A Rodeo

The Ute Stampede rodeo is not to be missed. It is actually a National Qualifier, just in case you had doubts. We love to go and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells (very fresh!). This year was fun -- Nick, Silvia and I felt very sneaky bringing in a little Quizno's, just in time to see 75 years of Rodeo Queens and the giant American Flag fly in from the sky. I didn't see the rodeo for a few years during my weird adolescence. I vetoed it on the high moral grounds of animal cruelty. I guess they are nicer to the animals now or something, 'cause I sure love it!

Jon and Trina, Giant Boot, and Rodeo Queens
My cute little brother Nick and his cuter wife Sil. Thanks for the ride, guys!

Liv, Papas and Grandma.

Believe it or not, my son actually took this picture! And only five years old. Looks like he's gonna buy me a big house by the beach one day when he makes his fortune.

K.J.'s second picture. Pretty good!

Picture by Adelah Mae. Good job, Addie! Buy your mom a house by the beach, too!

The Wild Child flying through the air! You can see him to the right of the picture past the smoke. K.J. thought he was a "crazy boy." I just felt bad for his mother!

Sleeping Beauty

How can you not love a good old fashioned rodeo? Something for the whole family!
