And We're Not Even Done Yet!

As Afore mentioned, a few weekends ago we went to Navajo Lake with The Double B's parents and siblings and a whole hoop-load of fun little cousins. Here are some of our adventures.

Steve, Sabrina, Mom, and Steve
solving the world's problems.
(And just think, we have three other Steve's in the family, too! Lucky!)

Olivia was in rare form this camping trip. She was only about two steps away from becoming a Child of the Woods. 'Cause we were gonna leave her there. I'm sure she could have found a wolf family to raise her.
Wretchedness!
Thankfully, our adorable and wonderful niece, Emily
has a special way with all of her younger cousins (they all about worship her)
and Olivia is no exception.
Lifesaver Emily! You earn a merit badge!

We all rented a motor boat and it was the funnest thing ever!!

This was both mine and Kaje's first jaunt like this, and we both loved it!
My only other boat experience involves three canoes, and it has scared me every time to go too far out on a lake in one of those babies.
Haven't you seen the Halloween movies?
I'm always terrified Jason is going to reach out of the lake and pull me in with him!
But I wasn't concerned at all this time.
If Jason woulda' popped up his ugly masked head,
we could have out-boated him!
Bring it, Jason!
Shazam!

Grandma reading all her grandchildren a few fairy tales.
She had a very enchanted audience.

We loved being together.
The End.

you made your camping adventure sound like way too much fun. way to buck up for tents, dirt, and no showers. i should follow in your footsteps...one of these years. the motor boat thing sounds awesome. i need to try that one of these days. thanks for sharing the family reunion fun. are you coming up this weekend? oh please tell me you are. i'm so nervous the answer is going to be negative. i know i'm already in trouble because i didn't call and remind ben to ask for the weekend off :(.

sounds like you had fun. thank goodness for other kids to help entertain your own. I always like it when that happens!

How fun! It looks like you had a blast. And by the way, you can't get rid of me that easy. Even if you don't pick me up for running, I will find my way down there and still run with you. So there!
