Why Do I Read?! Letter Edition...

Dear Rowena,
I'm writing letters today in your honor.
But I must ask you.
Why did you recommend
'The Actor and the Housewife'?
Why did you make it sound intriguing?
Didn't you know it would keep me up until
FOUR A.M.
reading it?!?
Have you no shame?
Don't you care about my sleep?
Let's still be friends.
Love, Marie.

Dear Authoress Hale,
Really? REALLY?
Did you plot this when you wrote the book?
Did you plot a way to keep your readers
AWAKE
until
FOUR A.M.?!
You should have worked lesshard (and yes, that's a word) .
Please make your books less intriguing.
Love, Marie.

Dear Felix,
You are my favorite fictional character
since...
swiss cheese.
I don't know why.
But I just love you.
Will you marry someone I know and love?
Fictional or not, doesn't matter.
I'm still worried about you.
Love, Marie.

Dear Marie,
Why do you open a novel at eleven p.m.?
Don't you have a conscience?
Don't you know you will not be able to put
the dang book down
until at least
FOUR A.M.?!?!
Have you learned nothing about yourself?!
Have you no thought of the repercussions?!
Sheeeshhhh....
Not Love today but Like,
Marie.

I am not a novel reader (except the occassional really long novel like posts on someone's blog!!) So what was this very intriguing book about? I can't imagine ever having the desire to stay up ten minutes reading let alone til four am. Wow. Good luck on the sleep. Maybe tomorrow while KJ is at school you can catch up a little if Olivia complies to the plan!

I loved, loved, loved that book! I couldn't put it down either. She needs to write more books, but then we'd be totally sleep deprived!

Sounds like a book I need to read...not in the middle of the night though.

Oh Marie, we will still be friends. And yes, it was an evil plot. Bahahahaha. Forgive me a cruel chuckle. (Name that film?)
