Fall Preview

This morning was the Halloween parade at the elementary school. It was so groovy, I would have LOVED something like this when I was a kid. All the classes came out in full costume and walked around the block for all the parents to see. It was cute... really, really cute. Also... cold. And I don't know what your cold is, but this is cold to me. So it was cold. Livi did her best under the circumstances. She held out for the longest time because she came in costume and wanted the kids to see! But at about the icicle stage she relented and cuddled under the blankie. I was thankful, because she has such a cute little nose and I would hate for it to fall off.

Kaje just wasn't as impressed by the whole idea as I was. Of course, he thinks that if you have to walk more then ten feet it is indentured servitude, so not quite up his alley. But he was happy to see us, anyway.

I love these small town things. I really do. I like it. I like it a lot. And look at Peter there... he's almost edible.

All in all, a fun adventure.
This next picture I "borrowed" from Jenny's blog because I find it simply hilarious. We had a book club party last night on 'The Actor and the Housewife', and it was very stimulating. I came home and informed The Double B that to both of our surprise, I am not nearly as opinionated as we both like to think! I'm like a tame little kitten next to some people. And it was quite enjoyable! I am forever fascinated by where we all draw our own personal lines. I might be bad... let's face it, I probably am... but I think a little imperfection can go a long way towards enhancing your happiness. Don't quote me. I'm just saying. I myself am like 10 million light years away from perfection, so I gotta like that a little in myself and especially in others. So this book was real food for the think tank for Sister B. Thanks, Jenny! I had such a great time. You're a marvelous housewife yourself.

First of all I'm super sad for you that you didn't have a Halloween parade as a kid! Where did you grown up? Halloweenhaterville?

Second that is the cutest little Peter Pan I've ever seen. Those boots were the kicker for me.

And third..cause you knew there would be a third, I'm sad I couldn't come to the Book Club. Dang this living 9 hours away from people stuff. Looks like you ladies had a blast. I just love Jenny!

That's one good-lookin' Peter Pan, I've always had a crush on Peter Pan...maybe it's the tights.:)

And I'm a little jealous that I didn't get to come to the book club meeting. Looks like you had fun. I'm dying to read that book...maybe one of these days.:)
