Waiting For Daddy To Get Home

The Double B was out of town for the weekend, leaving the children and I to our own devices. We had fun -- Costco, Wal-Mart, a wedding reception, and the primary (kids) program at church -- but we were definitely ready for the man in our lives to come back. This is Livi last night.

She wanted to watch a movie in my room, so I put on the Wiggles for her and proceeded to waste time do whatever I was doing. When I came in to check on her in a few minutes, she was chowing down on Craisens, her new passion. It was so cute, I just had to take a picture.
She was a little curious about why I would take her picture while she was just chilllin'.

But then, never one to pass up the opportunity to be the center of attention (I have taught her well) she decided to go for the whole photo op. Should I send this in to the Ocean Spray people? Perhaps she could jumpstart her career as the Craisens spokeswoman?

What a kid.
I think it's important that you know that I am a rolly-polly killer. I didn't want to be. I accidently ran over one with the stroller this morning on the way to school. Kaje was horrified -- "You just killed my friend's friend rolly polly! Why did you have to kill Sad-E? She was a girl and now we have to find another girl rolly polly!"
I'm sorry rolly polly, wherever you are.
P.S. Kaje did awesome with his part in the primary program. It was so gosh darn cute. He gets really nervous in front of a crowd, but he looked very confident and well spoken up there. Of course, this is his mother talking.
P.P.S. Don't forget to sign up for the giveaway. Winner announced tomorrow. This will bring me great joy.
P.P.P.S. Here's a little question to ponder: In this life, when is claiming your own happiness at the expense of someone else's acceptable? If ever? Just a little something I've been pondering... go snack on that and let me know if you find the answer.

Grace saw the picture of Liv and said, "Oh! that's my cousin. She's gonna eat the cranberries."

I think if it's someone who cares about you, then they will be happy to let you have your happiness. If it really makes someone you love unhappy to snatch your own piece of happiness then in the end you wouldn't really be all that happy would you??

I love the pictures of Olivia. Sorry to here about the death of Kaje's dear friend rolly. I hope he recovers quickly! Will you be holding funeral services?

You can tell your mom that I remember who she is so if she feels like commenting I wouldn't be wondering who the stranger was! I'm glad there are some out there who check daily and get enjoyment from my blog. Have a great day.
