And Baby Makes Five

Remember how I used to be an everyday blogger?
And then I fell off the face of the earth and the very thought of blogging made me want to throw up any food I had ever eaten?
Oh... you don't remember that?
Well, I do. Let's just say that I do.

I am here today, fourteen weeks pregnant, to let you all know that I am fourteen weeks pregnant.
That's right, folks! We are having a baby. And we are most excited about the whole thing. The whole baby, I should say.

I decided on sharing this information today -- January 21, 2010 because I am now officially -- I think I'll say it again -- fourteen weeks pregnant. Which means, for all intents and purposes, I am done with the first trimester. I like the outlook of the second trimester. Of all the trimesters, I'll take the second. I felt nervous and very private about this pregnancy. But we have heard the little heartbeat and my body is quickly changing shape into sort of an orb-like figure. So we feel safe and happy to share.

We know it's the right thing for this baby to come now and we are very, very excited. I can't wait, but K.J. can't wait even more! Both of the kids are very excited and so happy. K.J. is really, really hoping for a girl. Livi says she wants a boy and a girl. Why choose, right? All we know is that naming this poor kid may be next to impossible between the two of us. We have agreed to call it "Cousin It." Hope that appeals to all of you!
Anyhow, we are very happy about this turn of events. Keep us in your prayers!

And just for your information, we have decided to make a big change at our house -- we have decided to get rid of our computer. It was a big decision, and not one either of us really loved, but in the end it's the best thing for our individual little family. So! I won't be able to blog as much. I am still hoping two or three times a week, but we'll see. Just keeping my peeps in the know! I am very fond of all of you!

No Computer? Are you serious? Go for it girl. I was threatening Andy yesterday that I was going to quit the computer. Only use said item for bills, work and lds.org (avoiding that site wouldn't be positive I feel). I was thinking of trying it for a month, no time spent blogging (reading or posting), no time on facebook and no more keeping up with the todayshow. Not sure about it yet but I will see . . .

I love babies. I also love that I will never be carrying one inside of my body again. If you ever feel the need to get rid of your baby, I know the perfect place...my house! I don't mind getting up in the night. I love cuddling in bed. I love the sweet little sounds they make when they are sleeping or are uncomfortable or are pooping. I love the awesome baby products that we can groom our children with. They just smell heavenly. I love babies. Congratulations on getting someone in my favorite phase of life. Mmmm...baby.

And blogging less is just fine, you will still keep us posted when you can and make us laugh in the process. I will miss the good read everyday, but this gives me more of an excuse to CALL you or come VISIT you to get my Maretard fix! Love you!!!! :)
