We Did It, We Did It, We Did It, Hooray!!!

Molly's Mountain and my Children meet for the very first time:
They are so cute it is almost life threatening!
Here's Olivia, who can now probably say her life is totally complete.
Beautiful view, wind in her hair, and Bug Juice.
What else is needed, I ask you?
Apparently Kaje is a little confused.
Is this primary?
Or is it an awesome adventure-slash-picnic planned by his way-to-cool parents?!
We hiked clear to the top!
I repeat, we hiked clear to the top!!!
I don't think it's too soon to say that we are totally amazing.
Or at least our kids are. They were total troopers!
They both hiked the whole thing by themselves, which is... well... amazing.
And while K.J. was, true to form, rather nervous on the way up
Liv had a huge smile on her face the whole time.
This woman loves adventure!
For some reason, once we were on top
all sense of trepidation and caution flew right out of K.J.'s body.
He was a little bit wild, even the Double B was telling him to use caution.
And the Double B never uses caution, it's not in his nature.
So it was kind of a big deal!
Here's the girls on the way back down.
Kaje pulled way ahead, but Liv wouldn't leave Katelyn behind, so she and her helper Daddy stayed right with us the whole time. She was pretty darn sweet.
(Hint: Katelyn is, in fact, in this picture. See her head? There you go!)
Katee liked the hike, too.
She was snuggled right up to Mommy and had a very refreshing nap.
Yes! We did it!
Liv took this picture of K.J. when we got back to the car.
(Please not Dora sticker stuck to window. Not my finest moment when I found that stuck there.)
And Kajer took this picture of Katee Jill.
On the way home, Daddy gave us a little spiritual thought on 2 Nephi 2:25. You know, how men are that they might have joy. And that God gave us this beautiful earth to help us achieve that joy. And then, my husband, the converted tree hugger, helped us see that is why it is so important to love and enjoy and care for our beautiful planet.
It was very nice.
We had a totally awesome time! It was a blast for all of us and we're going to do it quite often, say the party planners. It was good for Olivia and the Double B, who love wild adventures, and good for K.J. and Mommy, who are
The Double B and I are just super impressed we made a plan of radicalness and stuck to it!
Go us! Go Family B!
Go Captain Planet!

you are awesome. congrats on following through. Looks like you had a blast.

As for the sticker a flat razor blade works really well to remove stickers from glass.

I've never heard of this "Molly's Mountain" I am very confused because it does look like a famous landmark in my new beloved hometown of Hurricane...what could it be...What Could It Be???

I thought that was called Molly's...something else. I think it was anatomical...

You are AMAZING for taking a little tiny peanut of a person strapped to your back on a hike.

I wish that we knew eachother in real life so that your coolness might rub off on me.

P.S. I missed your funniness during my four day hiatus from technology. I'm not entirely sure how to spell hiatus.

Wow! I am impressed! We are hiking tomorrow (not Molly's Mountain mind you, but up the canyons here in Salt Lake, not sure if we can compete with Molly!) and so I will share this inspirational story with my family so they know they can do it too! Yes they can!!!
