The Time I Was Almost A Millionaire.

We bought our first lottery tickets!!!
You know, since we live in one of the forty-five states eligible to win the Powerball, we decided to go for it because we were totally gonna win! I know just what I would do if I suddenly got a lump cash pay-out of $245 million. The Double B knows exactly what he would do! And let me tell you, people... we would do some good!
It was sort of embarrassing to buy the ticket, because I am thirty years old, and I simply couldn't figure it out, man. I didn't know how to say "Hi, I'm 30, and I don't know how to buy this here fancy findangled lottery ticket for $2, could you help me?" People in the Midwest are really nice, though, so they probably would have been pretty nice about it. But pride. Pride stopped me, so it took about ten minutes longer then it should have.
The Double B made me go in. He wouldn't do it. So it fell to me to buy us a life of ease!
Tonight they drew the winning numbers, WHICH I WAS CONVINCED we were most definitely going to win. I didn't even have the same concerns as the Double B about how to pay tithing on it, because I figured we could just dump it all into the missionary fund. I was all set.

We didn't win.
Not even the $4 consolation prize.

Sigh.
The End.

Haha, that's funny. We bought one too while in Ohio and we didn't win either! What the heck?
