Big Night

Last night was Olivia's much anticipated wax museum. KJ was sad to miss it, but he was going to the TEMPLE!!! He was so excited and just had the best experience. As I was going to drop him off and Liv to Activity Days, he saw a group of other youth walking up to the meet up point and he jumped out and just went with them! He got back five hours later at nine, high on life and gleefully holding his In N Out cup. He said it was so awesome, and "so spiritual." My Momma heart was so happy! He did two family names from Grandma B and can't wait to report to her. I so appreciate those youth leaders. They sacrifice such an amazing amount of time and effort to those kids, it is so appreciated and just means a lot to me. He's got another camp out this weekend and is thrilled. 

On the other side of the family pond, this little miss spent a quality hour as Ginger Rogers:

She was so, so full of anticipation and did an adorable job. She was so dedicated she stayed in position until pretty much everyone was gone and her teacher came to release her! What a gal. She got to perform a lot and nailed it! Then she and Hadley Hoo Hoo (her good buddy) went and played a few games before it was time to go. She snagged the three Popsicles they gave her and put them in the freezer. This morning she, Kate, and Kaje were happily licking them at seven a.m. So fun. What a gal. 

In other news, my boys got much-needed haircuts. They are like their Dad and basically chia pets. They look so cute, but Benson just kills me every haircut. My baby just transforms before my eyes! They grow up, don't they. 

The Double B was off today and we had a lunch date. Then I got to go read to Katelyn's class for Nevada Reading Week! It was so fun and she was thrilled. I read "Go, Dog, Go" and "Pete the Cat and the Bad Banana." I wore green, because elementary kids are serious about St. Paddy's Day and I didn't want to get pinched.
